The Michael Richard's piece was interesting, as I've been watching a good amount of classic TV and with the sitcom likely headed the way of the western ive beenppreciating the art form and the how the actors approached it. Didn't know he passed on monk, what a role that would've let him show a greater range.
The Maron thing is hilarious to look back at. My own theory is that stuff we found funny in 2007 never for the most part stopped being, it's just that new mores changed what mainstreamers could do, allowing those outside of the mainstream to traffic in and build their audiences with it. (Early Mr beast was "problematic")
